Who they are…
The Merrill Area Community Foundation was established in 2002 to develop and distribute charitable funds that support education, the arts, social services, economic development, youth and historical & cultural resources. Although the investment and administration of our funds are handled by the highly respected Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, our local board of directors awards grants only to vital projects within the Merrill area.
What they do…
The Merrill Area Community Foundation makes financial grants that help preserve and enrich the way of life we all cherish. Grants are made with funds earned from investments, so the dollars you give today will last forever.
Ways to give…
You can contribute cash, securities or real estate whenever and as often as you care to. There are many options, including planned giving. You can donate a new or existing life insurance policy, assign the dividends, or name the Foundation as a beneficiary; You also can make bequests in your will. In fact, the next time you’re dealing with tax planning or estate planning issues ask your attorney or tax advisor about the advantage of contributing to the Merrill Area Community Foundation.
